Phillip and I just shared our first Christmas together as a married couple. It was wonderful! We have established some new traditions for our little family of 2.
1. We go look at Christmas lights throughout Redlands
2. We watch “It’s a Wonderful Life” on Christmas Eve
3. We open new pajamas on Christmas Eve that we wear Christmas morning
4. Christmas morning, we exchange...
Our first married Christmas eve :) We’ve watched It’s a Wonderful Life, ate breakfast together, stayed in pj’s til noon, and exchanged new Christmas pj’s for tomorrow :) now we’re getting ready to spend the evening at Phillip’s parents to eat delicious food at watch the cousins exchange presents :) have I mentioned how much I love married life? :)

All things wonderful about today
Friday has been lovely!
First—Phillip spent the day with me and the girls. We took them to Red Robin on a lunch date and then we let them open their Christmas presents. They LOVED them! :) :) :)
Second of all-it’s been raining all day! I just LOVE the rain! Maddie managed to find every puddle today and jump in it…and she had the best time!

Maddie and I spent our morning with Amber, Audrey, and Baby Greycelyn. :) We had a fun, but very trying time making sugar cookie dough. You know how three year olds love to help! :) But they had fun and that’s really all that matters.

Homemade not fried Fried Ice Cream
So Phillip and I looked at Ehow.com and found a recipe for fried ice cream that gave you the taste without having to fry it. And, like always, we didn’t follow the recipe…we made up our own.

I really miss singing. I miss That musicals aren’t and haven’t been a huge part of my life these past few years. But every time I see a show, listen to Broadway music, or sing a song from a show I’ve been in, I feel my long, lost passion arise in me again. The downer about having not sung in a while is the confidence I once possessed in my ability to do well has dwindled.
